About the Walk
Join Alex and her dog Leia for a relaxed Sunday Social Walk through the beautiful hills and lanes around Crich and Matlock.
We’ll set off from The Loaf Bakery in Crich, exploring a new route each time through scenic countryside and quiet village paths. The pace is steady and social, giving plenty of time to chat, enjoy the views, and let the dogs socialise.
We’ll finish back at The Loaf Bakery for coffee and cake — the perfect way to round off your Sunday morning.
What to Expect
• Gentle 4–5 mile circular walk with stunning views of the Derbyshire countryside
• Dog friendly (please keep dogs under control and on leads around livestock)
• Varied terrain including fields, woodland and quiet lanes
• Some ascents and descents — Crich sits high on a hill!
• Friendly, relaxed group atmosphere
What to Bring
• Walking boots or sturdy shoes
• Waterproofs and warm layers (ground may be wet or muddy)
• Water for you and your dog
• Lead, waste bags and treats
• A smile and sense of adventure
